Redundancy Training and Q&A

Registration is closed for this event

Aims:

As voluntary organisations emerge from the immediate crisis of Covid-19, the furlough scheme changes and its ultimate end in October, organisations may face some tough decisions about their future and the future of their staff.  Some may find they need to look at restructuring and potential redundancies. This webinar will look at what redundancy means and the correct process which must be followed.

Who should attend?

This webinar is designed for trustees, chief executives, line managers and other key decision makers. It will provide a general overview of the redundancy process and then give participants the opportunity to ask our HR Advisors and questions they have on the redundancy process.

What will you learn?

Throughout the webinar, we’ll discuss:

  • How to avoid redundancies
  • What is a redundancy
  • The necessary steps to follow when making redundancies
  • Answers to pre submitted questions
  • Answers to your questions on the day

Trainer: This training will be delivered by Jane Hudson and Bob Owen, HR Advisors at Community First Yorkshire.  Both have extensive HR knowledge and experience in supporting organisations with their HR issues.
