Carer's Respite Sitting Service
Hambleton Community Action's Carers’ Respite Sitting Scheme supports carers living in Northallerton, Bedale and surrounding villages, offering them the opportunity for a short break from their caring responsibilities.
Home visits are carried out by the scheme co-ordinator who will match the person being cared for with a volunteer.
Volunteers will usually visit between 2-3 hours per week at a flexible time convenient for the carer and volunteer.
If you would be willing to offer friendly company to a dependent, allowing the carer to have some time for themselves, we would love to hear from you.
