Collection Boxes/Tins

With a large number of collection boxes across the county in shops, pubs and public buildings, YAA cannot possibly manage them all themselves. You would be the registered contact for a number of collection boxes and information points in your area. When we receive a call from the owner or manager of the premises, we will then ring you to ask you to empty the box if possible. You will then count and bank the money, following up with the relevant paperwork for Head Office

Skills or experience required?:

• Over the age of 18
• Experience in a customer facing role, ability to talk to members of the general public
• Available during normal business hours to make visits to outlets
• Comfortable with handling, counting and banking money in line with charity procedures
• Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
• The ability to use a computer and send emails
• The ability to use Microsoft Word
• Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• The ability to inspire people about the work of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance
• The ability to act in accordance to YAA policies and procedures
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to network and travel around the local area
• Have access to you own vehicle is desirable

You will require?: Drivers licence, A car
