Cleaner / Caretaker Volunteer(s)

Founded in 2005 Yorkshire Yoga is a small, well-established health and wellbeing charity based in Knaresborough. We provide a variety of high-quality exercise, therapy and well-being activities from our fully accessible studio and across our community via outreach projects. We believe the benefits of Yoga, Wellbeing and Mindfulness should be available to all; irrespective of abilities, situation or finances when people need help the most. We work hard to address health inequalities and improve the everyday lives of our patrons and provide an opportunity to build friendships, support networks and a community with like-minded people.

We are a well loved local charity in Knaresborough who is looking for on-going help and assistance from a dedicated person(s) to assist us with keeping the building clean, tidy and good condition. The Yorkshire Yoga and Therapy Centre needs to ensure it is clean and tidy at all times to ensure it is fit for purpose and offering our patrons the highest quality health and wellbeing services possible. Our finances cannot facilitate hiring a cleaner or caretaker, therefore we would very much like to have a pool of dedicated volunteers who could lend a helping hand when required over the course of the working week to mop the floors and undertake general DIY as and when required. If you could spare a couple of hours a week to help us keep the centre clean and tidy and maintain our pleasant and welcoming environment, do get in touch! Your time and effort would be greatly appreciated.
