About the opportunity:
We are a volunteer run museum / heritage centre open to the public five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday 11am to 4pm all year around. We need volunteers to greet visitors and to help with filing, sorting, archiving, research, scanning, newsletter writing, website updating. Whatever skills you have we can fit you in with our team.

About Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre:
- we are a community organisation
- we want to preserve our maritime heritage and that of our coastline.
- we want to educate and help people to understand our maritime heritage.
- we collect items, research, have a massive collection of photos and always lots to do.
-we were awarded the Queen's Award for volunteering 2016.
