Volunteer Lead Funding Bid Writer

The role will involve identifying and writing funding bids for a community interest company, a social business supporting women returners struggling to return to work after a break, facing the challenges of little or no confidence, social isolation, outdated skills and workplace experience and poor health and wellbeing. An individual with lived experience as a women returner would be highly desirable. Great opportunity to join us at an exciting time of future growth.

Skills or experience required?:

Computer literate
Write compelling and comprehensive bid/tender responses to successfully achieve income targets.
Identify appropriate bid funding/tenders opportunities through electronic procurement portals, websites, networking and other activities.
Provide regular updates/reports to the managing director on all bid/tender activities.
Develop ongoing relationships with funders to maximise prospects for future funding and procurement.
Excellent attention to detail.
Accurate record-keeping.
Strong proof reading/editing skills.
Strong organisational skills.
