Trustee Recruitment

Trinity Centre is a registered Charity located in the heart of Whitby. Our Centre offers a programme of activities to older people, some of whom are living with dementia. Our aims are to help our clients remain socially connected, and retain creative and cognitive function. This in turn helps to slow down the pathway to frailty and help them remain independent in their own homes for longer. We are an approved Day Centre and work closely with Social Services and other voluntary and statutory agencies.
We currently have vacancies for 2-3 members on our board of trustees, who are responsible for the strategic direction of the Centre and the wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and service-users. We are not involved with the day to day management or activities of the Centre but do retain the oversight. The time commitment is likely to be from 5-15 hours per month. Our board meetings are usually set for the third Wednesday of the month - but may vary from time to time.
