Scarborough Dial A Ride is a local, independent community transport charity and we have been providing safe, accessible and affordable transport for older people and those with a disability since 1983. To help keep up with demand, we are looking for people who can give one day a week to assist passengers on our fully accessible minibuses, along side our great team of volunteer drivers. We operate in and around the Scarborough and Filey areas taking people shopping, to day care, to health appointments, hairdressers, to visit friends or for any reason they need transport. If you like helping and meeting people, we would love to hear from you. We provide full training and support and you will be part of a friendly and welcoming team, and know that you have made a positive difference to people's lives and to your local community. Many of our volunteers have been here for 10 years or more.
