We are seeking a dedicated and experienced fundraising professional to join our organisation as a volunteer. We are currently funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, Children In Need & NYCC, our strategic plan is to increase our self-sustainability going forward.
The ideal volunteer to help us do this will have a proven track record of success in nonprofit fundraising, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The volunteer will work closely with our team to develop and implement fundraising strategies, with a focus on building relationships with donors and securing gifts.

Skills or experience required?:

Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a track record of success in securing gifts and donations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities are to:
Work with the team to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies and campaigns
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners
Develop and implement fundraising events and initiative
Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records
Participate in team meetings and provide regular progress reports
