Dementia Forward runs a day service for people living with dementia in the village of Welburn in Ryedale. The Hub Club offers a full day of activities in a safe, supportive environment. We are looking for volunteers to support the group by welcoming people, supporting with activities, chatting and listening and helping serve refreshments. There is no requirement to do every week.
Skills or experience required?:
There is no particular experience needed, but we are looking for people who have an empathy for people living with dementia and are keen to support them to be fully involved in their community.
