Serving Community Treasurer

Do you enjoy balancing the books and crunching the numbers? Are you an organised person with experience of preparing financial reports and using online banking? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a volunteer Treasurer for our York Service Committee. You don’t need a military background, just the ability to get on with people and a desire to support the serving community. Email sct.interest@ssafa.org.uk for more.

Skills or experience required?:

Experience of accountancy.

Experience of using financial management systems.

Understanding of the importance of boundaries and confidentiality.

Good IT skills to be able to use email, access eLearning courses and produce reports.

Non-judgemental approach and alignment with SSAFA’s values and BRAVE standards.

A willingness to adhere to all relevant organisational policies and procedures.

You will require?: Drivers licence
