This is both an exciting and challenging time for Scarborough Museums Culture and Creative Trust (SMCCT). Our priority is to re-establish the Trust as a leading voice in the cultural life of the North Yorkshire, able to play a central role in the cultural and economic renaissance of Scarborough.

We are therefore seeking 4-5 new trustees to ensure the Board has the diverse range of expertise and perspectives necessary to ensure the effective governance of the Trust. As a Trustee of SMCCT, you will be responsible for ensuring the strategic direction, financial health, and governance of the organisation. Trustees play a vital role in safeguarding the mission, values, and long-term sustainability of the museum and gallery. You will work closely with the CEO, staff, and other Trustees to ensure the organisation thrives and serves its public mission effectively.
