Volunteer Opportunities

We are a local Scout group in Scarborough, providing Scouting for boys and girls from 6 to 18.
Our family friendly group use badge work, based on the Scout Association guidelines.
Our children take part in a broad range of activities from helping in the community to camping and enjoying our scouting, we raise money through regular fundraisers.
Beavers have endless fun and make new friends, Cubs enjoy balancing their badge work with having fun, joining in events and competitions.
Scouts is all the previous and learning more survival type activities, such as building structures and shelters, cooking, camping and enjoying the outdoors more, Our Explorers do all the previously mentioned and often step up to become young leaders and their award scheme is similar to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. Leaders ensure that the children have fun and enjoy scouting and all it has to offer, the leadership team at ELO are a great bunch of people who love their Scouting, and their love of Scouting passes on to the young people in care,
