Scarborough Talking News - Recorders
Our volunteers recorders do exactly that! Our readers read the news and the recorders make sure the narrative is recorded, clear and of a good quality. Our equipment is easy to use and the team are very friendly. We work on a rota basis and the commitment is roughly once a month - you will be welcome to do more if you like. We record on a Wednesday 10am to 2pm.
Once recorded the Talking News is distributed weekly on memory sticks to over 80 visually impaired listeners in the Borough of Scarborough and beyond.
