The purpose of the Staithes Museum and Heritage Trust is to provide the community of Staithes with a sense of continuity and attachment to their village, by preserving and presenting our unique collection .

We aim to arouse interest in the heritage and associated stories of the daily lives, traditions and experiences of the inhabitants of Staithes for the benefit of our community, local groups and our national and international visitors.
